My father-in-law was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. We were determined to keep him surrounded by people who loved him for as long as possible. My husband and I had no idea how hard it would be to care for an aging parent who did not think he needed to be cared for. We started looking for caregivers to help us because we both work full-time. We stumbled upon Erliza by the grace of God. She was amazing from the first time we met her! She has a lot of experience caring for older adults and a lot of knowledge about memory care. She was able to give us suggestions about how to set up our home before he even moved in. She was patient and understanding with him. He did not want a “caregiver” but she won him over. She was fun to be around and our whole family fell in love with Erliza. She is a hard worker and always keeps herself busy. If my father-in-law was napping, she would do his laundry or clean up his area (she is also an amazing cook!). She was always looking for things to keep his attention and made sure that he had exercise every day. She was a blessing to our whole family, by taking such great care of our loved one and making it feel manageable for the rest of us. I would highly recommend Erliza to anyone
